The primary challenge was to maintain the high production value and seamless feel of the original international spots across all adaptations for the entire model catalog. This required meticulous attention to detail to ensure every new element, from the integrated Romanian text and graphics to the naturally flowing voice-over, felt authentic and not like a later addition. Synchronizing all these components into a final product that looked and sounded as if it was originally created for the Romanian audience was a complex, multi-layered process.
We were selected by Škoda, through the agency Rodia and Parcfilm studio, to handle the complete adaptation of their international television commercials for the Romanian market. Our task was to tailor the global campaigns for the entire model range in their catalog, transforming them into seamless, ready-to-air spots specifically for the Romanian audience.
Our comprehensive adaptation process covered every aspect of the commercials. We translated and re-created all on-screen text, promotional offers, and motion graphics in Romanian. We modified key visual elements, such as vehicle license plates, to display the correct Romanian model names. Furthermore, we partnered with Parcfilm for the voice-over casting and recording sessions, and handled the final audio mix and master to broadcast standards, ensuring perfect synchronization and clarity.
