“Mondays” needs a new look; unlike the original version, we have a Happier version this time. Even if the story behind it is sad, we tried to go with the energy of the current song.
The first thing you need to know is that “Mondays” is a remake of the song “I Don’t Like Mondays” performed by The Boomtown Rats. Bedroom Heroes and Roton Music turned to us to come up with our creative contribution to the project, they don’t necessarily have a direction, and we took it as a challenge.
We decided that the song expresses freedom and carelessness, and our target was the young audience, so we tried to show this in the video, hence the choice of the vibrant and friendly color palette.
It was an absolute pleasure to work on this project, and the final result was a surprise for the artists; they liked it a lot. Even though the song goes into an indie niche, it collected over 100,000 views on Youtube.
