“Tembleque” was a project in which many people were involved and it was a project in which a lot of time and money was invested, it was a real pleasure to have our creative contribution on the project, it was very difficult to thank all the 3 teams that dealt with the artists but we managed to do that in the end.
We had the great honor to be part of this project, we were very happy when we heard that they want us to help them with the graphic package for this project. From the first moments we realized this is a big project, it will be a lot of work, we had to accept feedback from 3 different teams and we also had to explain to each team the problems that the others have, as well with directions and ideas from the others two teams.
The project did not have a direction for the artwork part, we only had the video as a reference and we also had to use the video to select the photos used in the artwork, as you can see above, the frames used for one of the artworks was all from the official video. We tried to introduce the three main artists on the cover and make them look as good as possible together.
Unfortunately the project was not easy at all, and we knew this from the beginning, we had more than five different variants, three of them were later used anyway in the marketing campaign, we were not upset at all because of this, we knew in what we got involved and always tried to find the best solutions.
In the end we got to have three different artworks all three used for different purposes but the important thing is that we had all the teams happy with the results and excited about the collaboration. The song managed to get more than 1.6 million views on Youtube and over 834k streams on Spotify.
We liked this challenge, we think we managed to do a good job and leave a good impression because later we managed to continue the collaboration with two of the teams involved.
